Winter Park, Florida / 2022 / Ground Up
This house came to take on a distinct personality throughout the design process. In retrospect, this seems inevitable. To begin, we culled our long design conversations with the owner, a psychotherapist, into word clouds that ultimately guided the architecture. The resulting house is an assemblage of folding planes that create a sense of serene enclosure and frame sightlines towards Lake Osceola.
