Sabbeth Projects creates homes—spaces that bear the signature not only of their designers, but, more importantly, of their occupants and the land on which they live. We believe homes should be as much art as they are architecture: sculptural spaces where we sleep, cook, raise our families, and restore ourselves. We see the home as a stage set for the unfolding drama of everyday life.
Sabbeth Projects is a creative incubator—a collaborative team of architects, designers, and makers who care deeply about every detail of design, function, and the lived experience of home.
Sabbeth Projects was founded by Peter Sabbeth following an acclaimed run with the award-winning Hamptons- and NYC-based firm Oza Sabbeth Architects. With Sabbeth Projects, Peter continues his commitment to collaboration and visionary design, creating inspired homes for inspired individuals.
About Peter Sabbeth
Trained as a fine art painter, Peter began his design career in the mid-1990s, working on luxury lofts in Brooklyn’s DUMBO neighborhood. He later founded Modern Green Home, a design-build company in the Hamptons that blended his artistic roots with a non-traditional approach to home design. A decade later, Peter co-founded Oza Sabbeth Architects with Nilay Oza, launching a formally inventive architecture studio that helped redefine the design landscape of the Hamptons. Their work has been nationally and internationally recognized in publications such as Wallpaper, The New York Times, Hamptons Cottages & Gardens, and Architectural Record, as well as by the American Institute of Architects.
Peter has been praised for the clarity of his design vision, his commitment to client satisfaction, and the exceptional quality of his builds—often in partnership with Modern Green Home.
Peter holds a degree from Tufts University and is a 20-year member of the U.S. Green Building Council. He is also a part-time life coach, a former skateboard designer, a trans-oceanic sailor, and the proud father of two boys.
