Bianco Road
This house presents a refined synthesis of vernacular gable and modernist pavilion, unified by a restrained material palette of vertical wood siding and expansive glazing. The plan is organized as two volumes bridged by a transparent connector, creating both spatial drama and functional separation between public and private zones. Elevated on piers with a sheltered carport beneath, the structure engages its landscape lightly while maximizing views and daylight through deep roof overhangs and a fully glazed living zone.
Shelter and Retreat
Shelter and Retreat
is a “pavilion” style country getaway that creates a village out of a house, designed around practical usage and energy efficiency. Located on chic 29-square-mile Shelter Island, Shelter and Retreat is a development project that will be available for sale and occupancy, summer of 2026.
Nassau Point
A Brooklyn couple’s retreat, that is as much a house for two, as it is a house for six. Designed to feel warm regardless of the number of occupants, Nassau Point speaks of mid century beach modernism with clean facades and strong purpose. A
strong expression of timeless design, with a commanding master suite, large home office, and a great room that separates the water views from the private pool area.
Pond House
A modern shed with vernacular roots in the wood-shingled farm buildings of the early Hamptons. An air of the traditional belies a house tuned for sustainability, with a thickly insulated facade and a roof perfectly angled to harness the sun for itself and a surrounding estate.
Sand Hill 3.0
The rare opportunity to build upon an earlier design, as a Modern accretive style that utilizes monolithic facades and constructivist principles. A summer home by the sea that is nestled in the woods, where multiple structures create a compound-like feel. A purposeful statement on returning to, improving, and extending previous work.
Hayground House
Long geometric forms, open courtyards, with parallel gables capped by a sculptural flat-roofed bar. Our Hayground House is nestled into a shallow hillside, stepping down from the road to a rear yard of native trees and grasses among raised flowerbeds. Gardens surround and run alongside the house, with curated views of greenery from every interior space.
Gansett House
Hidden at the end of cul de sac, a stones throw from the ocean in Amagansett, our Gansett House blends traditional lines and modern design principles. Walls of divided light glass, an expansive eat-in kitchen that catches both the sunrise and the sunset, a backyard designed for lazy summer family gatherings, and enough beds for a growing family as well as visiting friends. Gansett House is the quintessential beach home by the sea.
