Amagansett, New York / Ground Up
This pool house is a refined expression of vernacular form, with a gabled roof and symmetrical massing that lend a quiet elegance to its place in the landscape. A wood-clad open lounge with views down the length of the pool receives warm sunlight filtered by flowing curtains. The axial alignment with the pool reinforces formal symmetry, while native plantings and a restrained material palette ground the structure in its wooded context. The pool house is flanked by an open pavilion and a pergola with grilling station, forming a complete poolside program.
